Thank you for visiting my web site. This is also the home of HawkSpeak Productions, a production company dedicated to the promotion of Songwriters, Acoustic Music, Folk Music and Folk-Rock Music, as well as traditional and contemporary Native American music.

I have been a professional musician for over 30 years. As such I have had to perform all styles of music in all types of settings. My heart, however, has always belonged to folk music and song writers. Traditionally, folk music carries a social, political, or spiritual message not usually found in contemporary music.

About 12 years ago I began an extensive study of Native American cultures, customs, philosophy and spirituality. Having grown up in Oklahoma, I was always fascinated by this culture. Sometimes the road we travel doesn't seem to make sense to us, but that strong urging inside pushes us on ever harder. This was the case with me, and I found myself becoming a great fan of traditional and contemporary Native American music.

When I began recording my last project, Trying To Breathe, I wanted to incorporate Native American music in it as much as possible. It was truly a unique experiment for all concerned with this project. As it turned out everyone involved was excited with the prospects and pleased with the outcome.
